and by pilates I mean waffles

Sometimes, after we study at the same desk,
we have to blow off some steam. It's sort of a college thing.

So, we go outside and blow bubbles by the bike racks.

Sweet catharsis.

Gym Guy

Look at this billboard.

For some reason it cracked us right up.
Also, Lisa walked into the Men's bathroom today. Oops.

They're Called Assets

Oh hi.

We went to the Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork and threw colored powder to symbolize burning a witch who burned babies or something like that. We don't mean to offend the Hare Krishnas, we're just not exactly sure what the whole thing was about. But we loved it anyway.

Before that, on Friday, we parted ways temporarily. Lisa went to some sporting events. Mostly we included that because Lisa wanted this cute picture to be on da blog.
Look at that. 2 cute 4 words.

Ally joined the culturally elite and went to see Les Miserables, but kept saying how excited she was to finally see Seussical. Here's a picture that's not quite as cute, but we have to be even.

We both went to the Mr. Helaman competition.

Yeah. This guy.

Finally, we liked coming home to see this in our bathroom.

A quick fix.

We're proud that our suitemate Erica can problem solve, but we're even more proud that she's engaged. That's a shout out. Holler.

Yeah, a Great Dane probably wore it

Today, we lounged.

It wasn't that aimless, non-directed lounging the teens do these days. We set aside an hour, donned our lounge wear, pulled out the camping chairs, threw in those kitten blankets, and got our lounge on.

Pure unadulterated lounging.

While lounging, we realized how grateful we were for our kitten blankets, and decided to express this to their manufacturer, VM International, in the form of a letter.

Ioo% polyester. What's not to love?

Oh yeah:

But we're good for the money.

Babe, you parked on the red?

Exactly one week ago today we were doing this:

That's us. Probably singing Midnight Train to Georgia.

Allow us to elaborate. This March 17th not only brought green clothing and nostalgia for the movie The Luck of The Irish, it also brought a karaoke party. Okay, we brought the party, but the Irish holiday helped.

When the girls in our hall work as our PR spokespeople, they often use the phrase, "they don't do anything half way." For example:

Our floor lounge looked better than Oz. It wouldn't have been possible without the 3100 decorating committee that was both assembled and dissolved in the same night. Love those girls. Not shown in this photograph: a karaoke machine, a cereal bar, a fridge full of Apple Beer, and some actual party goers.

Here are some pictures. Look at them. Plz.

Burn - Usher

Summer Nights - Grease

God Bless The U.S.A. - Lee Greenwood

I'm A Slave 4 U - Britney Spears (We give Andrea the Most Passionate award. Seriously. It's like Britney was there.)

You get the idea. People sang, which was all well and good, but what we really enjoyed was the after [visiting hours] party. Ladies only.

The Soap is Drying on My Face

We're in a karaoke phase.

We had three tests but instead of studying we decided to compile some clips from our greatest karaoke hits, all of which happen to come from the same night between the hours of 10:30 and 1:30 a.m.

The following program was shot over a three hour period in the city of Provo, Utah. The people, the locations, and the drama...are real.

Our apologies to Bromwyn and Christine.

I added him. Why wouldn't I?

Oh wow. It's like, what have Ally and Lisa been doing, you know? We know. We'll tell you.

We had a grilled cheese/camping party in our dorm room to kick off our own personal camping week. We fed the multitudes with 7 loaves of bread and one giant $15 block of cheese. And our griddles. We estimate that we made about 60 (+/- 2) sandwiches. Nothing feels better than grillin' up some cheese for your pals with the soft Sunday sound of John Denver crooning in the background.
Those were the days.

The word even got out on the international scale. We're going global.

How was our actual Camping Week? Take a look.

Yep. Heaven.

We went to San Jorge with a bunch of girls we barely even know and hardly ever see.

JK, gigglz. We went with all the thirty one hun-doh girls.

and Natalie.

Some highlights included:
-hikin'
-paintin' nails
-takin' pictures
-findin' a lizard the size of a Komodo Dragon under a pillow near the television
-watchin' Bromwyn calmly handle the lizard situation
-hot tubbin'
-drivin' around roundabouts
-seein' where HSM 2 took place in real life
-goin' to dinner with Andrea's mom
-droppin' unnecessary "g's" on the end of words

Natalie extended her vacation indefinitely and bunked with us in our room here at BYU for a week.

Luckily we still had the air mattress. In fact, we still do. Anyone is welcome since our room feels empty and too big now. We miss Natalie, as do all the DJ girls. She really captured their hearts.

Finally, on Saturday, we proved Lil Jon right.

Crunk most certainly ain't dead.

Before

That's us. As a cowgirl and a mobster.

After

Lisa, Nick, Caleb, Ally

This is us with our beloved bottles of Teddy's Rootbeer after a few poker games, four Dollar Tree tattoos, three shot gunned Pixie Stix, some hits of diabetic friendly Too Tart spray, and 20 minutes of the movie Maverick with no sound. Hats off to those boyz for a gr8 'appearance of evil' night.

Welcome to Our Lane

We went to the Motown Dance.

And surprisingly none of us won the costume contest.

But like always, we got our groove on.
